This week we will be starting our "adventures' early in the week, and this week will have little chance of rain and very light winds. It is a perfect weekend to spend some time on the water. If there is something you would like to try, please call us. There will not be any surf the entire weekend and the bay will be smooth.
We also offer night fishing by kayak or canoe any and every night this summer for those who cannot stand the heat. Very easy and cheap and fun, call for all the details. The Kayak Shack will be organizing a Stand Up Paddle Board Race. The date of the race is set for Saturday August 21st. We will end the race with a Kayak, canoe,/"anyting that floats" regatta. We will also have a paddle with your dog so this is going to be a very fun event. Please call or watch this site for more information. Please call to enter race. Entry fee is $20. with all proceeds going to contestents. Each contestant receives a race t-shirt.

Wenesday and Thursday August 4th & 5th
On Wednesday and Thursday we will be offering a "Summer Weekday Special". Stand Up paddle board rentals and lessons will be $35. for singles and $25 for couples. This special will be for wed. and thur. mornings starting at 7:00 am to 7:00 pm both days. This special also applies to kayaks and canoes that launch from our location.
Friday August 6th
Friday Morning we will be offering kayak, canoe, or SUP rentals starting at 7:00 am, till midnight. The wind is proposed to be very light and there is little chance of rain. We have several places we may explore this weekend with the paddleboards so call if you would like a little adventure this weekend. Also please call if you need any canoe or kayak equipment delivered before the weekend starts.. 281-744-2197

Friday Night July 29th
On Friday evening, we will be not holding our third Race Meeting. The date of the race will be Saturday, August 21, 2010.
We will offer night fishing kayak rentals on Friday Night, even late if nesessary. Please call for details or to book a spot. 281-744-2197

Saturday August 7th Sunny, Very Warm and light winds most of the day, the earlier the better. Call one hour in advance to book your kayak or canoe. Kayak rentals in Armand Bayou are $40. for single kayaks, for the day.(This is a special spring rate and will not last forever). You can also launch at our site on Clear Lake and the kayak rental is only $30., for any kayak, for the day.

Saturday Night: August 7th Saturday night we will not be doing a dusk to midnight paddle into Armand Bayou. I will not be on site but will have staff at the office for any late rentals you may have in mind.
You may go night Kayak fishing on Saturday night.

Sunday August 8th Sunday morning after 8 am. will be a normal Kayak or SUP rental day. I will be able to take anyone for a Sunday rental, along Armand Bayou as well as Clear Lake. The cost for kayak or canoe rentals are $40. Please call to reserve a spot. Winds will be medium, all day, and should be perfect paddling conditions.
We also offer night fishing journeys on Sunday Night. Call for details.
